Explorer Academy is a kindergarten through 12th grade parent-partner program. We offer a hybrid of online instruction and on-campus instruction with local certificated instructors’ support. Students receive most of their instruction at home from a parent-partner using South Kitsap provided materials. As a public school, there are no additional fees. Families receive face-to-face guidance and support from one of our Consulting Teachers. Explorer Academy offers a variety of on-campus classes in Math, English, Science, Physical Education, and Art. Our mission is to provide a supportive, flexible educational process in which alternative students with individual needs learn to become successful and productive citizens.
